There are two Hyatt Place Hotel properties in the Birmingham area. Hyatt Place Birmingham/Inverness
The first Hyatt Place Hotel opened at 4686 U.S. Highway 280 in Inverness. (link)

Hyatt Place Birmingham/Downtown
The SpringHill Suites in downtown Birmingham was opened in Spring 2009 as a Hyatt Place.
