There are two Hyatt Place Hotel properties in the Birmingham area. The chain features oversized beds and sleeper sofas in each guest room, along with 42" flat-panel HDTVs with customized programming and connections for personal computers and media devices. The hotels have wireless internet throughout.

Hyatt Place Birmingham/Inverness

The first Hyatt Place Hotel opened at 4686 U.S. Highway 280 in Inverness. (link)
