In Birmingham This Week was a weekly entertainment guide published by George Alsop and edited by Jim Edmondson in the 1920s. The editorial office was located in room 206 of the Lyric Building, with production taking place at 1629 5th Avenue North. Copies were supplied for free distribution to hotels, clubs, taxi cabs, railway stations and novelty shops and department store check rooms around the downtown area.

In Birmingham This Week included a directory of hotels, theaters, resorts, churches, public buildings, and places of interest, along with maps of the Birmingham area, the downtown district, streetcar routes and railway timetables.
