The southern side features the original bleacher seating and a small press box. Underneath the stands is a pair of locker rooms and the band room for the middle school. At the eastern end of the stands is the Main Concession Stand, and at the western end in the Parkway Concession Stand, both operated by the HT Band Boosters.

It was constructed as part of the original high school, which is now Hewitt-Trussville Middle School. The football field is surrounded by a 1/4 mile track, with the HT Band bleachers being located at the end of the eastern end zone adjacent to the main scoreboard.
