Jasper City Schools is a public school board, established in 1892, which serves the residents of Jasper. The system is overseen by the Jasper City Board of Education, whose five members are appointed by the Jasper City Council to serve staggered five-year terms. The superintendent for the system is Ann Jackson.
In 2021 the system was awarded $9,452,486 ($3,701/student) in federal Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds tied to the COVID-19 pandemic.
