Java and Jams, April 2009

Java and Jams is a coffee bar and music venue located at 321 20th Street North in downtown Birmingham. The business, which is owned by John and Alisa Maske, opened during the 2007 City Stages weekend.

The bar features Fair Trade coffee from Higher Ground Roasters as well as wine and beer and serves light meals. On Thursday through Saturday evenings the bar hosts live music. Work by local artist Warren Mullins is displayed on the walls.
