John Wesley Rice (born c. 1894 in Clinton, Greene County; died 1954) was a Presbyterian minister, the father of John Rice, Jr and grandfather of Condoleezza Rice.

Rice was ordained on May 20, 1920 in the Central Louisiana Presbytery and pastored several churches there before coming to Birmingham to lead Westminster Presbyterian Church in Titusville in 1943. He remained at Westminster until his retirement in 1951, and was succeeded by his son.
