Klingler's European Bakery, Café and Catering Company is a bakery and café located at 621 Montgomery Highway in Vestavia Hills. It was opened by 1991 by Irmgard Klingler Middleton. Her children and grandchildren, including head chef Kelley Wilton help run the operation.

Klingler's Black Forest cake was honored as one of "Birmingham's Best 101 Things to Eat" by Birmingham magazine in 2002, and it was named "Best European Bakery" a year later in the same publication. In 2006 ("The Year of Alabama Food"), the Alabama Bureau of Tourism & Travel named the Black Forest cake from Klingler's as one of its "100 dishes to eat in Alabama before you die."

In addition to its famous Black Forest cake and variety of creamy cheesecakes, Klingler's creates unique birthday, wedding and groom's cakes to order.
