Kool Korner Sandwiches is a sandwich shop located at 790 Montgomery Highway in the Vestavia Hills City Center in Vestavia Hills. Kool Korner is owned by Ildefonso Ramirez, and occupies the space in the Publix strip which formerly housed Firehouse Subs.

Kool Korner opened in Vestavia in June 2009. Kool Korner had been a Midtown Atlanta landmark for 23 years, until Ramirez's landlord decided to sell the building in 2008. Ramirez, a native of Cuba, decided to retire and relocate to the Birmingham area to be closer to his son, but soon after arriving in the area decided to reopen the restaurant, which was acclaimed for its Cuban sandwiches.
