La Paz is an Mexican restaurant located at 99 Euclid Avenue in Crestline Village. It was founded in 1992 as part of an Atlanta-based chain, which began with a first location in the Vinings community in 1979.

The Birmingham location was bought by the Red Mountain Restaurant Group in 2008.

In 2011, the owners announced the opening of a second location, Frio en La Paz, at the former Nonna's location in the Vestavia Hills City Center. The name, which the owners translate as "Chill at La Paz", reflects the more relaxed atmosphere they hope to achieve in the new location, featuring patio dining.

In 2012, a La Paz was opened at the Galleria in the former Michael's location.
