Let's Do Something! was the successful campaign slogan for Mayor of Birmingham candidate Larry Langford. It was a direct criticism of the incumbent Bernard Kincaid, who was known for being very meticulous, which gave the perception that progress was being made. Langford, on the other hand, had a track record of making quick decisions when he was Mayor of Fairfield and president of the Jefferson County Commission.
