The Fanaei Building in a 9,000 square foot event hall at 2209 1st Avenue North in the downtown Loft District.

The event hall, which opened in 2007 occupies the main level of the former Slater Sales building, which was purchased by Matthew Fanaei and his son, Kavon Fanaei.

The younger Fanaei is planning to convert the third floor of the building into a loft, while the bottom floor, facing Morris Avenue, is home to Matthew's Bar and Grill.
