C.) and Mo Blues (Santa Fe, Argentina). The event also featured barbecue from [[Jim 'N Nick's]] and a motorcycle ride from [[Lightning Strikes Lanes]] in [[Trussville]] to the festival site.  The 2006 festival benefitted the [[Alabama Foundation for Oncology]].

Blues Fest was an annual event organized by the Magic City Blues Society, held from the group's inception in 1993 until 2007. Funding for the festival fell through in 2008. The society instead held smaller concerts, called Junkyard Jukes, throughout the summer.

The 2007 festival was held September 2 at Sloss Furnaces. Performers included The Bluesmasters; Dan “Harpdog” Marson and Friends--Ray Reach (keyboards) and Abe Becker (bass); Blue Light Specials, Shar-baby, Microwave Dave & The Nukes, 2BLU, Mikey Jr. & Stone Cold Blues Band, Debbie Davies, and Bob Margolin with Nappy Brown. Barbeque was provided by Jim 'N Nick's.

C.) and Mo Blues (Santa Fe, Argentina). The event also featured barbecue from Jim 'N Nick's and a motorcycle ride from Lightning Strikes Lanes in Trussville to the festival site. The 2006 festival benefitted the Alabama Foundation for Oncology.
