Melva Ferguson Langford (born March 14, 1942) is the wife of former Birmingham Mayor Larry Langford and president of the Holy Family Education Foundation which supports Holy Family Cristo Rey High School and Holy Family Elementary School in Ensley and St Mary's Elementary School in Fairfield.

She continued her education with a bachelor's in sociology from UAB in 1997.

In advance of the 2007 Birmingham mayoral election Mrs Langford registered to vote in Birmingham. However, as of July 2008 she maintains her residence in Fairfield.

She was a featured speaker at "Leap Up to the Challenge", a Plan 10/30 anti-violence event aimed at African-American women which was held at Fair Park Arena. In 2013 she was hired as an assistant to Birmingham City Council member Steven Hoyt.

She and Langford have one son, Ronald, and two grandsons.
