J. W. Minor Elementary School (sometimes known as New Minor Elementary School) is an elementary school in the Birmingham Public School System that is located at 2425 Avenue S Ensley, in the Ensley neighborhood. The school, named for Ensley business leader J. W. Minor, was constructed as a replacement for the older, County-owned Minor School on Pike Road.
The current principal is Dave Porter.
The school moved into a newly-constructed building designed by Davis Architects in 2007.
