Overton Road (Jefferson County Road 62) is a long suburban road which winds from the Shades Mountain Filter Plant on U.S. Highway 280, eastward, roughly parallel to the Cahaba River, through Cahaba Heights and Overton Village, past Liberty Park to Grants Mill Road near the Pine Tree Country Club in Irondale.
