P&D Swords and Mystical Gifts is a retail store located at 2801 John Hawkins Parkway, suite 153-N in Galleria Trace Plaza in Hoover specializing in swords, fantasy books and gifts, and medieval period clothing and jewelry. The owner is Patrick Brundege. The P&D in the store's name stands for Patrick and Denise, Brundege's wife.

History

Brundege originally planned for the store to be strictly as a sword shop, but decided it made sense to include medieval and fantasy products. The store is intended to finance Brundege's education as an engineering student at UAB. The store opened on July 21, 2007 and a ribbon cutting ceremony was held August 7, 2007.
