Prodigal Son's Coffee & Sodas was an apothecary-style coffee shop located on Middle Street in Montevallo. It was opened in 1996 by Greg Martin. The shop's name refers to Martin's senior-year hiatus from the University of Montevallo to work at Walt Disney World in Florida, and his subsequent return. The store closed in 1999.
