Sherry W. Lewis (born January 19, 1962) is chair of the Birmingham Water Works Board and president of the Belview Heights neighborhood association.
Lewis graduated from Phillips High School in 1980 and earned a degree in management at Miles College. She formerly worked for AT&T.
On December 6, 2017 Lewis, Arcadis vice president Jerry Jones, and Terry Williams of Mobile County were indicted by a grand jury on state ethics charges relating to her position on the Water Works Board. She pleaded not guilty before Jefferson County Circuit Court Judge Clyde Jones in January 2018. She was convicted on two of three counts at trial in October 2019 and jailed pending sentencing. On December 12 Jones gave her a 10-year suspended sentence with 3 years of probation, a fine, and 400 hours of community service.
