Smile-A-Mile Place (formerly called Camp Smile-A-Mile Place or Camp SAM Place) is a community facility affiliated with Smile-A-Mile, which provides services to children diagnosed with cancer and their families. It occupies the former Jones Sportswear warehouse building at 1600-1604 2nd Avenue South, convenient to clients at Children's Hospital and to activities at Railroad Park.

Cohen Carnaggio Reynolds prepared the design for the facility, which was constructed by B.L. Harbert International for $3.6 million. The 12,500 square-foot building houses a large multi-purpose room, a smaller conference room, a media center, a game room, a meditation room, an exercise facility, a full kitchen and offices. Staff began working at the new building in January 2017 and it held a grand opening for its public programs on March 16 of that year.
