Smith & Co. is a precision fabricator of metal, carbon fiber, and nylon industrial parts with a 7,500 square-foot manufacturing plant on 4th Avenue South in Birmingham's Lakeview District. The company was founded in 2021 by former Smith's Machine owner Robert Smith. It plans to serve customers in the defense, aerospace and automotive industries.

Smith & Co. invested $2.56 million in its production facility. The company was awarded 10 years of tax abatements from the Birmingham Industrial Development Board.
