The annual Gardendale City Softball Tournament is a four-team bracket comprised of Gardendale’s police, fire, parks and public works departments. It is held each summer and games are played on Gardendale High School’s baseball field.

2016

The second annual game was played on Saturday, August 13, 2016 and the winner was the "Nozzle Jocks" team comprised of members of the fire department. Proceeds benefited the Raymond Doss Playground of Miracles.

2015

The first game was played on Saturday, July 11, 2015 and the winner was the "Nozzle Jocks" team comprised of members of the fire department. Proceeds benefited Cornerstone Ranch.
