In [[2015]] [[Retail Specialists]] announced plans for a $13.6 million mixed-use redevelopment of the block that would require the pub to relocate.
The building was demolished in [[2016]] for construction of [[The Waites]] apartments.

The Stillwater Pub was a bar located in the former Burly Earl location at 2109 7th Avenue South. It opened in the summer of 2009. It was owned by Jason Brunson and Daniel Stringfellow.

The building was demolished in 2016 for construction of The Waites apartments.
