The Elegant Earth was a retailer of antique and reproduction outdoor decor. It was founded in 1988 by Jane Comer, daughter of EBSCO founder Elton B. Stephens.

The Elegant Earth was originally located at 1907 Cahaba Road in English Village. It later opened showrooms at the AmericasMart in Atlanta, Georgia and the High Point Market in High Point, North Carolina.

Comer sold the business to Chad Stogner in 2000. Stogner purchased The Arbor at 3401 5th Avenue South in 2007 and reopened it as a showcase for Elegant Earth's products, as well as other outdoor lines. The company established a factory at 1700 Vanderbilt Road and offices at 901 33rd Street North.
