Union State Bank is a 15-branch community bank headquartered in Pell City in St Clair County. It currently serves the Birmingham area with six full-service offices. Originally chartered in 1903 as The Bank of St. Clair County, in 1910 a national charter was received and the bank was renamed The First National Bank of Pell City. In 1918 the name was changed to Union State Bank. The Birmingham locations include Homewood, Hoover, Mountain Brook, Pelham, Pleasant Grove, Vestavia Hills and Trussville, along with offices in St Clair and Cherokee Counties as well as in Destin, Florida.
