Viva the Chef is a cooking classroom, café and store at 3147 Green Valley Road in Cahaba Heights. Opened by Russell Watts in 2005, it offers cooking classes for adults and children, summer day-camps, birthday parties, and corporate team-building programs. The programs are led by one of six chefs kept on staff. The kitchen, which makes use of household appliances as much as possible, can accommodate up to 70.

Viva the Chef has a second location in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
