Bridgett Jones

Bridgett Michelle Rutledge Jones (born December 24, 1964 in Birmingham; died September 8, 2023 was a hair stylist and owner of Bridgett's at Greystone and Jucos Aveda Salon Spa.

Jones was one of five daughters of Carolyn Rutledge Jones. She graduated from Huffman High School in 1983 and completed an associate's degree at Lawson State Community College in 1985. From 1991 to 1994 she owned The Shop salon. She trained at the Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute Birmingham and has styled hair for local media figures including Tom Joyner and Malena Cunningham Anderson.

Jones also taught at Jackson-Olin High School and at the Aveda Institute. She volunteered at Maple Grove Church of God, New Covenant of Faith Ministries, Pleasant Valley Baptist Church and 6th Avenue Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Birmingham Chapter of Jack and Jill of America and made wigs for cancer patients.

She had two children, Julius and Cody.
