Camp Jimmy Goodwin was a camp operated by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Alabama located at 197 Camp Jimmy Goodwin Road in far northeast Walker County, on the southwest shore of Smith Lake. Established in 1960, the camp contained 67 acres and featured a wide array of activities and facilities. Utilized for both day and week-long camps, its most famous attendee was "American Idol" winner Ruben Studdard.

In October 2006, it was announced that the camp had been sold to a developer who plans to build a residential project entitled Duncan Bridge Resorts South on the site of the camp. The Boys & Girls Club made the decision to sell the property due to the increasing development in the vicinity of Smith Lake taking away from the camp being truly in the wilderness.
