Homewood Patriot Park (originally Oak Grove Park) is a public park in Homewood located off of Oxmoor Road west of Interstate 65 at 816 Oak Grove Road, adjacent to the Homewood Senior Center. The majority of the park is an open field and there is a 1/4 mile walking track that surrounds the perimeter of the park. A small creek flows south along the western edge of the park, meeting another creek flowing west through the middle of the park.

In 2011, Bark for a Park attempted to get 2 1/2 acres of Patriot Park, south of the creek and north of the Senior Center, designated as a dog park. On February 22, Bark for a Park board member Erik Henninger presented two facility designs for the park at a town hall meeting at the Homewood Public Library including separate areas for large and small dogs. At its February 24 meeting, the Homewood Parks and Recreation Board's facilities committee rejected the dog park proposal, stating they were considering using the land as parking if the Senior Center were to expand. The committee did offer the organization 1/2 acre at West Homewood Park.
