Infinity Property & Casualty

Infinity Property & Casualty was a publicly-traded insurance company headquartered in the former Infinity Property & Casualty Building at 2201 4th Avenue North in downtown Birmingham. Glen Godwin was CEO and James Gober was executive chairman.
The company, founded in 2003, specialized in non-standard automobile insurance policies. In 2014 it reported revenues of $1.4 billion and employed 2,400 people, including 500 at its headquarters office. In 2015 it purchased the former Birmingham News headquarters building for $20 million and relocated its offices from 3700 Colonnade Parkway in The Colonnade.
The company was acquired by the Kemper Corporation of Chicago, Illinois in 2018. It continues to operate as a division of that company.
