Monopoly: Birmingham Edition is a planned Birmingham-themed special limited community edition of the "Monopoly" board game. It is set to be published in March 2024 by Top Trumps USA, Inc. of Providence, Rhode Island, under license to Hasbro, Inc. of Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

The planned edition was announced by Mayor Randall Woodfin at a press conference on June 27, 2023. The company solicited email suggestions for local landmarks and businesses which should appear on the board before August 21. All proposed entities were to be approved by their owners, and by Hasbro before the game design was finalized.

Most of the properties depicted on the game board, including major landmarks, parks, and some businesses like Alabama Peanut Co., were not charged for the recognition. Others, such as Memory Lane sneaker boutique, paid for the publicity.

The game was unveiled at a press event at Vulcan Park on March 20. A costumed "Mr Monopoly" mascot was joined by the park's V... The Statue mascot for the occasion.

Properties

The "Electric Company" and "Water Works" utilities were not customized, nor were the "Go", "Free Parking" or "Jail" spaces.
