Quid pro Quo Club

The Quid pro Quo Club, founded in 1900, was a "culture club" which, in 1912 consisted of Thomas D. Parke, R. H. Elliott, Morris Newfield, A. J. Dickenson, John H. Phillips, A. H. Ford, James Weatherly, Sydney J. Bowie, Charles A. Brown, John L. Kaul, Frank P. Glass, and William H. Sims.

Club members gave periodic addresses before the assembly on topics of the day. One example is Sims' address, "Why Not Woman's Suffrage in Alabama?", which he delivered on February 3, 1912.
