Southern disComfort is an annual scooter rally organized by the Birmingham Scooter Syndicate. The first event was held on November 11-13, 2005 with over 40 scooters riding. The second rally was held November 10-12, 2006. Southern disComfort 3 was held November 7-9, 2008.

For the 2010 Southern disComfort IV rally, the organizers chose to move the event to June 11-13.

The rally centers around group rides around the Birmingham area, including destinations such as Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum and 29 Dreams. Events such as a slow ride and an obstacle course are held at Sloss Furnaces. Other events take place at local restaurants and businesses.
