The Percée

The Percée is a proposed 3-story, 10-unit condominium building with 2 live-work shop spaces facing the Rotary Trail on Block 120 at 2115 1st Avenue South in Birmingham's Five Points South neighborhood. An adjacent 4,000 square-foot building is to be renovated for an office tenant as part of the project.

The $7 million complex was announced by "City Trail View LLC", incorporated by Matthew Evans. Tammy Cohen of CCR Architecture & Interiors is the architect. The name of the project is a French word relating to the English verb "to pierce", used to describe the breaking of an opening through a building or other obstruction to provide a view.
