Sherman Collins Jr (born c. 1973 in Birmingham) is an insurance agent and property manager.
Collins grew up in Birmingham and graduated from Huffman High School. He earned a bachelor's in business administration at Samford University and worked in banking and insurance. He owns Scollin and Associates insurance agency and NewComers Reality property management. He is also a basketball coach for the Birmingham Storm and at Sun Valley Elementary School, and active in scouting.
Collins and his wife, Shanta Bender-Collins, have three children: Lauryn, John and Tyler. They attend 23rd Street Baptist Church. Collins is also a member of the Geometry Lodge No. 410 Ancient Free & Accepted Masons.
