1901 Birmingham municipal election

The 1901 municipal election for the city of Birmingham was held on December 31, 1900 and January 1, 1901. It was technically a Democratic party primary for nominees for city offices, but no other parties offered candidates, so it functioned as a de facto general election.

Businessman Ross Smith had shown interest in challenging the incumbency of Mayor Mel Drennen, but did not appear on the ballot.
