The 1959 Alabama State Fair was a State Fair open at the Alabama State Fairgrounds between October 5 and 10, 1959. Admission to the fair was $1 for visitors 12 and older and $0.25 for children age 5-12, except when attending on "Children's Day"s for free. A fee of $0.50 was charged to automobiles entering the fairgrounds, and grandstand tickets were $1.50 for adults and $0.50 for children.

The fair featured $42,000 in prizes for sheep, hogs, rabbits, beef cattle and dairy cattle. Annette Nall crowned Mildred Louise Nelson as Alabama's Maid of Cotton on October 8. Other exhibits included 4-H Club, FFA and FHA displays, artwork, flower arrangements, and missiles from Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville,

The "Alabama State Fair Revue of 1959" was accompanied by nightly performances by Frankie Masters and his Orchestra and Johnny Puleo and his Harmonica Band, followed by a fireworks display each evening. Celebrities appearing at the fair included Duncan Renaldo, Leo Carrillo, Craig Stevens, Guy Williams, Scott Forbes, John Bromfield, Robert Horton and Carl Marx.
