The 1959 Alabama State Fair was a State Fair open at the Alabama State Fairgrounds between October 5 and 10. 1959.

The fair featured $42,000 in prizes for sheep, hogs, rabbits, beef cattle and dairy cattle. The crowning of Mildred Louise Nelson as Alabama's Maid of Cotton took place on October 8. Other exhibits included 4-H Club, FFA and FHA displays, artwork, flower arrangements, and missiles from Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville,

The "Alabama State Fair Revue of 1959" was accompanied by nightly performances by Frankie Masters and his Orchestra and Johnny Puleo and his Harmonica Band, with a fireworks display each evening. Celebrity's appearing at the fair included Craig Stevens, Guy Williams, Scott Forbes, John Bromfield, Robert Horton and Carl Marx.
