33rd Street South (or Thirty-third Street South) is a two-way north-south street in Birmingham's Southside neighborhood.

The street is interrupted by the former Lakeview Park, now the BBVA Harry B. Brock Administrative Center and Highland Park. The northernmost section of the street runs between 3rd Avenue South and 6th Avenue South in the Lakeview District.

Another section of the street, primarily residential, runs south from Highland Avenue, up the slope of Red Mountain to Hillside Avenue. This section was formerly named Violet Street, and later Whitaker Street.

Where 33rd Street South meets Cliff Road coming from the west, the street takes that name for a little less than 200 feet before Cliff Road breaks off again to the east. Another short section connects Hillside Avenue to the Altamont Patio Condominiums just below Pawnee Avenue.

33rd Street South serves as part of the boundary of the Country Club Historic District.
