Denman Hall is a 10-story, 132-bed, 68,840 square foot apartment building for upper classmen located at 1604 9th Avenue South on the campus of UAB. The project was announced in March 1972, and proposed to have 100 units with a total project cost of $1.6 million. The building opened in fall 1973, and was designed by Henry Sprott Long & Associates and constructed by Brasfield & Gorrie.
Student apartments are available in one-bedroom (525 square feet) and efficiency (312 square feet) sizes with full kitchens. The building also has a computer lab, coin-operated laundry and vending machines.
