Jimmy Watson (born in Talladega, died March 4, 2014 in Birmingham) was the owner of the Garage Café.

Watson moved to Texas in the early 1970s and later came to Birmingham. He and his brother opened the bar at The Garages on 10th Terrace South in February 1994.

Watson also organized the annual Garage Café Beach Party, the Tuesday after Labor Day at Pandora’s Steak House in Grayton Beach, Florida.

Watson died from injuries sustained in a vehicle collision in March 2014.
