This article refers to a building on 20th Street North. For the building on 19th Street North, see Taylor Lofts.

The Taylor Building at 9 20th Street North, is the former headquarters for Superior Mortgage Corporation. It is located at the southeast corner of 20th Street North and Morris Avenue on the ground floor of the parking deck built by the City of Birmingham in 1999 for the adjacent John A. Hand Building.

It was named for Jimmy Taylor, the former CEO of what is now Superior Bancorp. In June 2007, Superior leased the space from the city in order to expand its mortgage division, which moved into the space in March 2008. In 2010, the space was vacated, as Superior Mortgage outgrew the space and relocated to an office building at the Colonnade.

In 2018 the Birmingham City Council approved a proposal to sell the parking deck to a subsidiary of Shipt for $1 million as part of an incentive package for the company's planned headquarters expansion.
