Magicity Pedicabs is a proposed pedicab business owned by Willie Pittman. Pittman plans to operate the bicycle-powered cabs in downtown Birmingham and Five Points South. As of January 2009, the City of Birmingham has no provisions allowing for pedicabs. Carol Duncan, the Birmingham City Council's chairperson over the transportation and communication committee, stated that they committee is developing guidelines and hoped to have them in place before the Davis Cup soccer matches in March.
