S-Town is a 2017 nonfiction audio podcast reported and narrated by Brian Reed, of This American Life, and released in 7 chapters by Serial Productions. It centered on the life and death of John B. McLemore. The name of the series was shortened from McLemore's derogatory term for the town of Woodstock on the Bibb County and Tuscaloosa County line. "S-Town" amassed more than 80 million downloads and won a Peabody Award.
