Charles A. "Scotty" McCallum (born c. 1926) is a dentist, educator, and the former President of University of Alabama at Birmingham. He was also a 2-term mayor of Vestavia Hills.

At UAB, McCallum served as dean of the UAB School of Dentistry, vice president of Health Affairs and director of the UAB Medical Center. He served as president for 7 years. McCallum was president and CEO of the Alabama Symphony Association, chairman of the Metropolitan Development Board until 1999 and general campaign chairman of the United Way of Central Alabama. He also is an alumnus of Leadership Birmingham.

In August 2000, the then-74-year-old McCallum was endorsed for Mayor by a group opposing the current leaders. McCallum handily defeated 3-term mayor C. Pat Reynolds and served two terms before retiring his position. His successor is long-time Vestavia fire chief Butch Zaragoza. During McCallum's term, he sought to bring more businesses into the city. Those included the Vestavia Hills City Center and a Publix Shopping Center. The city's schools also were a priority, with the school system consistently ranking high among Alabama's school systems.

McCallum is married to Alice Lasseter McCallum. They have four grown sons.
