Woodlawn Elementary School (originally Woodlawn School) was an elementary school located on Georgia Road in Woodlawn from the 1880s to the 1960s.
A new building for Woodlawn Central School was constructed in 1892 on property donated by Obadiah Wood. The three-story brick building featured high ceilings in its classrooms.
After Woodlawn was annexed into "Greater Birmingham" in 1910, the school was operated by Birmingham City Schools. In the 1950s the school housed Birmingham's "Sight-Saving Class" for visually-impaired students.
