Brilyn Hollyhand

Brilyn Hollyhand (born c. 2006 in Tuscaloosa) is the founder and publisher of The Truth Gazette, a conservative political website. He launched the publication as an email newsletter while he was a fifth-grader, in June 2017. He transitioned to a website in February 2018, and began hosting a podcast in 2019.

Brilyn is the son of housing developer Brian Hollyhand and his wife Leigh, and attends Tuscaloosa Academy. In 2022 Alabama Secretary of State John Merrill awarded Hollyhand (the grandson of a major donor to his 2020 senate campaign) a "John Lewis Youth Leadership Award" on behalf of the National Association of Secretaries of State.

In January 2023 Ronna McDaniel appointed Hollyhand and C. J. Pearson to represent "Generation Z" as co-chairs of the Republican National Committee's newly-created Youth Advisory Council.
