Catherine Patterson

Catherine Patterson Crum (born c. 1992 in Atlanta, Georgia) is a former reporter and anchor for WBRC 6.

Patterson attended the Alfred & Adele Davis Academy in Atlanta and earned her bachelor's degree from the Grady College of Journalism at the University of Georgia in 2014, including an internship at WAGA-TV in Atlanta. She began her career at WALB-TV in Albany, Georgia where she headed the station's Thomasville bureau and later became a weeknight and weekend anchor. She came to WBRC in February 2018 and edited the station's "Daily 6" newsletter in addition to working as an on-air reporter. She joined the anchor desk alongside Steve Crocker and J-P Dice in February 2019.

Patterson married accountant Richard Crum in January 2020. They welcomed a daughter in 2023. She resigned from WBRC in August of that year to spend more time with her family.
