Holy Family Catholic Church

Holy Family Catholic Church in Ensley was the first parish for African Americans to be established by the Congregation of the Passion Order (Passionist Fathers), Western Province of Chicago. It began in 1937. The church and rectory were dedicated on February 16, 1941. The church established a high school and elementary school.
