Robert Bragg

Robert Oleen Bragg (born 1908; died 1986) was Chief of the Irondale Police Department in the 1950s and 1960s. According to FBI informant Tommy Rowe, Bragg sought assistance from members of the Ku Klux Klan.

Bragg died in 1986 and was survived by his wife, the former Sara Higginbotham. He is buried at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville.
